Kid Review for Black Panther Movie!
Dear Journal,
I finally saw the Black Panther movie this weekend. It was really good and I can’t wait to see it again next weekend. Tee Tee and I got all dressed up in South African style clothing. The movie theatre was full of people dressed in African clothing*.
It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! Mommy wanted us to take a lot of photos before we left, so we missed the previews before the movie.
I loved watching the female heroes in the Black Panther movie, and one of my all time favorites was Shuri.
She is a genius who uses technology to make her county great. She is a problem solver like me and looked out for her brother when they were in trouble. I could relate to her because I also look out for my brother Amun. He looks out for me too.
She knew martial arts and her fight scenes were amazing. Every time I thought she wouldn’t be able to save the day, she used her smarts and figured things out. My heart was pounding and my mind was racing because I imagined what I would do. Being a Professional Problem Solver is hard work. Shuri made it look easy because she had the skills to save the day. One day I bet she could be the Black Panther.
Shuri was also very funny. I can’t wait to grow up and be like Shuri. Most of all, I can’t wait to see Black Panther again.
